TELL ME ABOUT Your Day.
Please use this form to tell me as much about your day as you can, some of this you will have told me in advance but if I have everything in one place this will help streamline your day. Every wedding is unique so hopefully you can use this space to let me know where people will be, and when, and what is happening on your special day! The more I know about the day in advance the better!.
Wedding day tips.
I want your wedding photos to be beautiful and run as smoothly as possible. I will be unobtrusive and ready to capture your special moments as the day unfolds. Here are some suggestions:
Allow more time for your hair and makeup than you originally anticipated on the big day. This will ensure you have plenty of time for everything else and that if you do over run – you’re not late! Where possible try and keep the room you are getting ready in as clutter free as possible. Please have all of your details such as dress, shoes, jewellery, perfume etc all together in one place ready to be photographed, it’s also nice if you have a copy of your wedding invitation too.
Don’t rush your first kiss! At least 5 seconds of kissing should be enough to make sure that myself and any videographers who you hired have a chance to capture the moment properly!
To shoot a private “couples” portrait session, I will need at least 15-20 minutes of your time alone at any point during the day, this could be after your ceremony or if we have beautiful evening light again later in the day after your meal.. Please also allow approximately 30 minutes after your ceremony for group photos, should you be wanting them.
If possible, please pre-assign a member of the wedding party, family member or friend who knows the people to be in the pictures to round them up for the photos. Getting people where they need to be for the photos is by far the most time-consuming part of group shots.
Don’t be afraid to smile and talk to each other when you are being photographed. Don’t feel that you constantly have to stare at the camera, I want you to create memories - not awkward photos!
